Symbios Health wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnification or other assistive technology. We test the site against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and we keep working on it as the site changes.

High contrast mode

Our brand colors are part of who we are, but some of them are lighter than people with low vision need for comfortable reading. Every page has a High contrast button in the bottom left corner of the screen. It switches the site to black text on a white background, with dark buttons, underlined links and clear focus outlines, and in this mode the site meets the WCAG 2.1 AA color contrast requirements. Select the button again to return to the standard colors. Your choice is remembered on the device you are using.

Other ways to adjust the site

• Keyboard: use Tab and Shift+Tab to move between links and buttons, and Enter to select. The first Tab on each page offers a “Skip to content” link.
• Zoom: press Ctrl and + (Command and + on a Mac) to enlarge text; the layout adjusts to fit.
• Reduced motion: if your device is set to reduce motion, the site turns off its animations.
• Screen readers: pages use headings, labeled navigation and image descriptions so they can be read in order.

Forms and services from other companies

Some parts of the site are provided by other companies, such as our secure online forms, the patient portal, online booking and maps. We choose providers that support accessibility, but we do not control their pages. If any of them is hard to use, contact us and we will help you another way, including by phone.
